Do you still have this issue?  If so, look at the rider down box which it just in front of the battery.. It is a little box with 2 screws holding it in place.  There is a small rod inside that maintains contact for all the bike electrics.  If it is loose or in anyway not in place, your bike will not run.  This was put in place to kill all the bike electrics so that if it went down all the pumps would stop.  If its loose just get it back into position and try to start the bike.  Parson Dav had this issue when his last screw let go in a rainstorm and a road trip.  Remounting it set things right.

I was hard charging battery (with cables connected) and heard a loud POP that seemed to come from ahead of the battery and below the fuel tank. I now have no electric power anywhere on bike except for battery. The battery is in tact. I checked the 30 amp main fuse at right side under cover and it is fine. I don't know what could make a loud POP and cause loss of all electric power. Thanks
