It is worth each and every cent you spent for her.

I think that they are for a Vulcan 2000.  I couldn't find any OEM colored badges and these only say "Vulcan" on them, so I put them on.....I like the look as well.....

That's a Ledrie front rail.  I picked it up on ebay and had it stripped and chromed.  they come up once in a great while (okay...I cheated...I knew who was going to post it and when).  I wanted it to match the rest of the bike, so I took it to a local chrome shop that I have do other work for me....the did it for $50

So, as some of you already know, I picked up my 1500 last year on ebay (auction) for $720 with a blown front bevel gear bearing.  I did some temporary plasti-dip paint to get me through the spring/summer/fall riding season.  As a Christmas present to myself, I stripped down the bike and had it repainted and added new whitewall tires.  I have finally gotten it put back together.  All told, I have invested a total of $2637.00 in parts and paint. (that includes shipping the bike from Illinois to Oregon).  So the investment to this point is just over $3300.  I think I got a pretty good deal.....here are a couple of before and after pics.....
