second gear problem

Just spilt the case and have 1 fork and 2 gears to change, now the hunt for 132601813 GEAR,OUTPUT TOP,25T
Seems it is no longer available

Yes that is what I was thinking, but I never had it jump back into gear again. Will take the engine appart to have a look.

Jumping in and out of gear is a symptom of worn gear 'dogs'.

I can't help ya out with your problem, as I'm not a mechanic. But it sounds like a clutch issue...
I'm sure that one of the Gurus of this Forum will soon help ya.

I just bought a 1999 Drifter1500, riding the bike in second gear and accelerating, it jumps in and out of gear, all the other gears are OK. Anny one else had this problem?
