Are you saying that you have these made for a 2005 drifter 1500 solo?

new design going into production.  first one is the old style that covered the front mounting hole for the grab rail on the 2-up seat.  second is the new design....

new mount designs are in and I am having a prototype set made to test on my bike.  Will take pics when they are done....other than the mounting point change, everything else will stay the same...current rear rack design will still work with the new style...

Hello all 1500 riders...as some of you know, I have been making and selling the 1500 saddlebag mounting brackets originally designed by Dave at Osprey.  I have not used them myself up to this point as I have the oem mounts on my 1500.  However, I was switching to a 2 up seat and wanted to move my saddlebags back a little, so I decided to use the set of brackets that I have kept for myself...unfortunately, I discovered that when using these brackets, the forward mounting hole for the grab rail (and my rack/backrest combo) is covered by the bracket....and cannot be used unless a hole is drilled through the bracket itself.  But even if that is done, the grab rail cannot be attached (won't fit over the saddlebag bracket because it is too thick).  I am really surprised that this has not been brought up before...maybe no one is using these brackets on a 2-up seat...but, I want to correct the issue, so I am re-designing the way the brackets mount to the frame....this will free up the forward grab rail mounting hole and move the brackets about 1" forward....
Thank you everyone that has supported this endeavor in the past....and if you have any issues with the previous style brackets when using a 2-up seat, let me know and I will do my best to help you out.
