I had to work yesterday, but that was ok, since the weather fools had predicted 8" of snow and freezing rain...It didn't happen, so today I went for a little 40° ride and FINALLY reached this milestone:

Ratman....I could consider a finder's fee if you are supplementing your retirement. I know these they are not easy to find. So just took the opportunity to throw the request out there.

Also need to do some searching on this forum to see what others have done or installed in the way of light bars. Would take a recommendation on something aftermarket that looks as good and fits, but I haven't found anything.

Very nice ride. Any bounty on the F&S light bar?

Been out whenever the temp has been at least 40 degrees F. Good to be back at it. Have had the machine MD inspected, replaced the 10 year old rear tire that came with it, cleaned it up and transferred my bags from the 2002. So good to go for the season.

Like the way the Shinko tires feel. So far worked thru 3 tanks of gas...about 300 miles since Mid January. Stock carb and exhaust that came with a bafflectomy. Uses more choke than the 2002 when cold, but MPG about the same....high 53/low 47 so far. All the brightwork is growing on me. Looking for an F&S light bar...don't see anything in aftermarket that I like so far.

Nice Pics Troll.

I haven't been out yet.  They put so much salt and brine on the roads, it takes a while for it to get clear enough for me to want to take the bike out.  Every time it starts to get clear, there is a forecast of 2 or 3 snowflakes, and the state goes out and paints brine stripes on the road again.   Most of the time, there isn't even any slick conditions to warrant it at all.

Now tonight, they are forecasting 3-6" of snow, depending on which weather liar you read, and guess what?  No salt on the roads when I came home, as far as I could tell, LOL.

No Worries

Iwent outside today and did not have to shovel, but the bikes are stil inside I have about 6 ft of snow still in the yard so the bikes can not get outside for a few more weeks......

Yes, I got out this past Sunday, not quite as cold as your ride mid 60's. Put on about 125 miles. It felt great to get out.

Real sharp bike there Troll! Yeah, rode about 37 miles Sunday and 8 yesterday. Fresh air and sunshine. Best medicine for cabin fever. Cheers!

Has anyone been out and about in the areas that suffered through winter yet? I finally got a chance to put some miles on. The temp was around 40°, but the roads were clear. Still plenty of ice on THE RIVER...but it really felt good to be out.
