request input for two up seat options

I just bought a 2001 VN800 Drifter with the standard solo seat and am requesting input on two up seating options.

I find that Corbin has a two up seat offered at $593, which seems a bit expensive to me.

My drifter came with Kawasaki saddlebag mounts rear rack and backrest.  The documentation that came with these accessories shows what appears to be a passenger seat pad as shown on the picture.  Am I interpreting this picture correctly and if so is this available?

Has anyone used the accessory frame mount for the support of a passenger seat?
