Smart deal on the rebuy.
I am still planning a run to the east coast after the Northern Drifter Rendezvous in July, and on the trip back I am stopping to visit some old friends in St. Jean sur Richelieu. Once there I will be in touch with you and you can ride your fancy Beemer over to visit me......lol........

Not many pictures of the new beast yet, as she's in storage with many more of her friends, and wasn't able to pull her out of there yet. It will be more of a teaser.

The first picture is if the real one, the second is what she is suppose to look like when i'll free her from this storage!

I will tell my friend for sure about this nice place but he's not into computer and this is his 6th bike, all plated and running. So maybe she won't be as often on the road as she was with me, In the transaction I've negociated a priority for rebuying if he ever put her up for sale.

Thanks Ratman, The beemer should do the job for now it's even older than my Drifter, '98 r1100rt. I've hiden my trailer in the back of the garage for my next drifter, they go too well together! Hope my wife does'nt find it, because she might be on to my evil plan to get another one!! Thanks man for everything! Your alws welcome to my neighborhood anytime.,

Well Robert you will always be welcome here, even if you sell your Drifter, but times and ideas cause changes. Hope that the Beemer is everything you will be wanting in a touring bike. Did you sell the trailer as well?
Hope that the biker gods shine on you and let you find a project solo bike for your future.

Well it's with great sadness that i finally moved on to another bike. So I must say farewell to my dear Kateri Tekawkitha. She's been a loyal friend for five years and about 80k. She's leaving me in perfect working condition, better then when I got her actually. A friend of mine was always making me offer to buy it, and I finally let her go with an offer I could not refuse. I kept a few accessories on a shelf in my garage because I might buy another one if I find a good deal, but a black corbin two up will be up sor sale at 350$ if someone is interested. When I bought this motorcycle, my wife swore that she would never ride on that thing, as she never been on a motocycle before, so I was able to transform her exactly as I wanted with the beautiful solo seat. Then, my wife started riding with my brother and quickly she changes her mind. So I got a corbin duo, and we've been riding more and more. Switching from the solo to the duo and also changing the saddlebag was not a quick process, but I like this bike so much with the single seat that I endure the agony of switching back & forth. When the offer came in, and a good deal on a bmw tourer bike came at the same time I jumped on theoccasion. This new bike will be my tourer, but I may well start another solo drifter project in a near future.....but certainly no ugly duo saddle on this one!

Thanks for having me and helping me on this forum, specially Ratman. Hope to be back soon on this forum with my next project!
