Old Drifter are better then mine but here is mine mounted to the front tubes.

Also many thanks for your You tube video removing fenders and wheels.  It's was a time saver when removing mine to take to the painter.

I'd love to take the credit, but that mod was here on the forum and I just followed the directions for my setup.

If you can't find the Nomad bracket, you can follow these directions.  I did, and it came out great!

PC - Nice write up for some mods and extra tool bag mount.  I got lucky and got master engineer Ted's last prototype shaft cover last month.  He used to sell a compete kit with rectifier, shaft cover and tool bag but sold the last one a few years ago. Now with PC set-up it's a close viable option from Ted's.

If anyone is interested in relocating their left side voltage regulator / rectifer located under their shaft drive to the front of their Drifter for better air flow and out of sight from the left side.

All you need is Nomad 1500 or 1600 voltage regulator bracket.  The bracket bolts directly to the front frame tubes ends directly under the radiator.  There from $6 to $15 on eBay.

Also the bolts you remove from the left side regulator will screw in directly to the frame tube holes and the Nomad bracket attached threaded nuts to mount the bracket.  Then you can use one more bolt to attach regulator to bracket and drill out one hole to attach regulator.

You will need to remove left side cover that comes off after you remove toe and heel shifter and left side floorboard.  That's a good time to flush and change your clutch fluid.  Then just relocated the regulator and wires attached over the top area to the front to mount to new bracket.  Replace cover and shifters and floorboard and your done.

I cleaned my bracket and regulator up, then painted with black heat bbq type paint.
