 I have a 99 1500 Drifter which I LOVE !!!! I began riding a Yamaha XS 1100 , was my late husband's son's bike , It was ok but I finally got my Drifter and have put 53,000 + miles on it . My hubby bought me new pipes last Spring and it has DROVE HIM NUTS ! Because the Drifter sounded so much better than his Suzuki Boulevard , he sold it , bought a Harley Electraglide , has went thru 4 exhaust system on it and STILL doesn't sound as good as my bike. LOL. Told him , sell the harley and by a Drifter !!He bought an 06 Road King last summer " for me " , hoping I'd put the Drifter away . I rode it some last summer BUT it doesn't compare to the Drifter . If it broke down today I'd still keep it and look for another one - DRIFTER . I am SOLD on these bikes. Check out  Kawasaki's Accelerate Online magazine . I have a brief story bout me and My Drifter there !!

My other bike is a 99 Yamaha Royal Star Venture I love the bike..... in Sept I then bought a 99 1500 Drifter and honestly I love that bike even more...everyone  keeps asking what bike I'm going to keep and at this point they are both going to have to learn how to share the same garage.

Interesting mix of bikes! I almost bought an XS650 two years ago. Beautiful machine.

Before my Drifter, I was still riding my 75 xs650 Yamaha that I got new when I was 16. Thats 35yrs in that saddle. Still have it but insurance in Canada is so high ( I was paying $495/yr for vintage policy with a 500 mi/yr limit.( my speedo cable fell off ) so I can't keep the 650 on the road along with the Drifter. I loved that bike and it always got attention wherever I went.

Current, '01 1500 Drifter, '00 W-650.....Lots of bikes in the past. Sold both my H-Ds last couple of years...98" S&S SuperGlide, circa 1978, and an all stock '80 FLT TourGlide. I go back to '63 and a '46 EL. and a bunch of pans and another Shovel in between.

My last bike before my 1500 Drifter was a 1948 Harley with a Shovelhead engine. Was a lot of fun but wicked on a long ride. I love my Drifter. I will never go back to HD.

The other day I was riding a friend's CB750K. It was a lot of fun and I could see myself owning one. So, do you have a second bike? What was your last bike? Mine was a Goldwing GL1100.
