99 Drifter Fuel Pump Assy

A shout-out to Quantum Fuel .  They sent me a kit that contained a pump, fuel screen, and other hardware.  The pump works great, but neither of the two fuel screens they sent worked, so I let them know about it (in a nice way).  This was their response:
"Ken,
Today we've sent you several more strainers, one of which should work fine, as well as a 2nd pump that has the locator post for the strainer removed.  The rubber union connector will need to be eliminated, its purpose is only to provide a transition between the pump and the strainer which is meant to sit at the bottom of the tank. Strainers can be  folded and contoured without impeding flow.  Let us know which one works best, and you can save the 2nd pump for another project or as a spare."

That's an insane price!!  Here is one for 70 bucks  just google 1999 drifter fuel pump  Many to chose from and not at 350 bucks!!
