The two triangle pieces can be fashioned from any angle steel.  I know someone that made a set from an old bed frame rail.

PC-  Do you or anyone else know if the two triangle pieces are on a Classic or Nomad seat are the same?  I have a 1500 Drifter double seat I bought without the two triangle seat brackets and just change out with the solo two triangle pieces when I swap seats but would like two more to just leave on the double seat.

Also is the 800 triangle brackets the same as the 1500 triangle brackets?  Just in case an beat up old 800 seat shows up on eBay,

Hi and welcome aboard!
The solo seat is not so hard to find: it pops up from time to time, on ebay...
As far as I know, it's not impossible to make Classic's seat fit, but it's not a simply bolt on.
Just my 2 cents...
