Sounds like Maxima chain wax is the stuff to use!

when I first got my 800 in June, the chain looked like it had never been cleaned or oiled (at 3500 miles).  It took me about 45 minutes to get it clean and then "waxed" and ready to ride.  I used Maxima Racing Oils chain cleanup and chain wax.  1200 miles later the chain still looks like the day I cleaned it and absolutely no fling off on the wheel.  I use to race MX and used this product line before....

That's an interesting lube comparison.  I think Teflon spray is a lot like wax spray.  I've got both on the shelf and they seem to produce similar results--keeps things slick, no dirt buildup, no big hassle to clean the chain.

I just tried using the search here on my desktop and it's fine.  I was doing it yesterday with my phone and it's not friendly to me. :o

There is a thread that leads to a chain lube comparison (2010)... may be newer ones now, but might be of interest. Here's the direct link...

This should have shown up for you if you searched for CHAIN LUBE... I'd be interested in details about what happened when you attempted to search. It works fine for me.

I found this in the "Blog" section, "Bel-Ray Super Clean Chain Lube". I don't have any experience with it however it looks like great stuff though.

There's probably already a thread about this but I can't get the search function to work so I'll bring it up again -- what are you guys using to lube your chain with?

I use chain wax and it seems to do well just to keep things kind of slick and not build up a lot of dirt and stuff. I've got almost 13k my bike now and the chain and sprockets look brand new. I used wax when I rode dual sport bikes as opposed to chain grease and I got good life out of chains and sprockets and less mess.

But I'm just curious what all you guys use. I'm thinking the owner's manual says to use oil, but that's kind of like from the 1970s or something --nobody's using oil are they?
