Been working on saddlebag brackets for a solo 800. This is the initial mock up. Still have a lot of grinding, cleaning, and fitting to do and they will be powder coated gloss black. Very sturdy, you can literally pick the bike up with these. They are designed to take the place of the original seat brackets. Standard bag u brackets will be mounted to them. I think they will work great! Made from 3/8 " steel.
