Rob, post a couple of pics so we can have an idea of what you are dealing with. On my '99 the signal attaching arms are exposed, I believe yours came with covers. I think dealing with the covers may be more of a challenge. You may have to get creative on relocating the signals.

So does anybody have any ideas on where to reroute my tail lights so that I can fit my big saddle bags? Or has anyone done this before?

oh man, those looks nice! I was able to score what I think is a nice pair of saddleman bags for only $40.00. I will be mounting them this weekend and will post pics. What type of bags are those Bam?
