Well, miracles DO happen! I just got my rebate check, $210. I ran to the bank with it and deposited it before Remington changed their mind.

Well, I ended up getting the max that Remington will refund. . . . 4 boxes. I also picked up a nice ammo box to put them in.

Those rebates... I think they wait until the maximum time (or a little more) on purpose. Then they send you a rebate card that looks like a credit card offer, so that you have a good chance to throw it away by mistake. I wonder what percentage of rebates go unclaimed due to this?

The fine print said 8-10 weeks.

Been 2 months since I sent in my Remington rebate on personal defense ammo...still waiting. When (and if) actually get it, I won't remember what it's for!

Cabela's is having their Pre-Black Friday sale now. Someone gave me the flyer that's going around. I didn't find the same deals on their site though. It looks like there are some good deals to be had on ammo now, through Black Friday.

There is one sale on for tomorrow only, on 100 rounds of Remington 12 gauge.

Regular price: 84.99
Sale price: 74.99
Mail-in rebate: -50.00
Final price: 24.99

I checked this stuff out a bit online and it is high brass and not target loads.

The sale price at Cabella's is tomorrow only, but the Remington rebate is effective from 11/20 to 11/30. The rebate has a limit of 4 100 round cases or $200 per person.
