ok so I figured out where they go.  the were the ones that belong on the post holes for tool storage cover.  there is no way they would have ever fit on the brake cover lol

Two holes in the fender for the rubber well nuts that hold the cover on, with 2 black phillips type screws

Recovering H-D owner...W-650 Cafe' No excuses...Ride it or sell it to someone who will!

Just got the bike painted trying to put her back together and I have two leftover grommets my best guess is they go on the front brake cover but I don't wanna force them on if I'm wrong.  Does the front brake cover have rubber grommets?
