Check with GreenBarn he has a front fender tip if my memory serves me right from Drift In.......

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

The picture is the cool looking Indian front tip from Starklite Indian in CA.
I wish it would of fit because it so cool looking.  Plus it only about $70.

Has anyone who has the exact Indian front tip have any issues? Starklite does not have any rear tips that fit the Drifter the owner said but said he sold a lot to Drifter owners.

Again, no knock on George, but that is my experience with the product. Remember, the fenders are plastic and the tips are cast....they will not pull together. They have to fit exactly to work.

Thanks. Yea that's the same guy in NJ.  Actually I ordered the set Nov 18th but after no tracking and shipping as of Nov 30 I cancelled the order thru PayPal ( Tired of waiting and who pays 250 and nothing shipped 12 days later should of shipped within two days) and Plus actually talking to him once on the phone about gaps and fitting being my main concern he didn't mention your dislike about the gapping. Those are the ones I was checking on.  That is exactly what I needed to know about any gaps that I don't want glad I cancelled now.

I tried the front only Indian fender tip from Starlite Indian in CA.  Price only around $70 and perfect quality But same issue you have three mounting points two lower and one center towards the top and no matter how you placed it on fender to try it there were gaps.  They Indian looks real cool but the gaps did not work for me.

Another thing about the Indian fender tip my fender is at the body shop and the body guy of 30 years was checking because you only have a limited space where all three would screw into front fender and having the lower part hang over tip about 1/2 inch was the best for for it but still gaps around top area of tip. The body guy said he would not put it on his bike because of the gapping and said it would tear fender up.

I don't know about that since I seen a lot of pics online on Drifters.

If they are from George Fitzsimmons in NJ....I returned them. They were not right for my 2002 800.

The quality is excellent and I paid the price, but when I dry fit the front one, it simply did not fit the shape of the fender close enough for me....that means there would have been gaps you can see visually, had I drilled the fender.
The rear fender tip would have covered up some of the heavy decal that runs down both sides of the rear fender...so that was an aesthetic problem for me.

George was good about it and returned my money after I explained the situation. So for me, they simply did not fit the fender shape and I wasn't willing to live with the gaps at that price...plenty of inexpensive ones that are not cast that you can bend to shape if you really want fender tips. Look at the photos on line closely where the cast ones are installed. You will see the fit.

Again, no knock on George, but that is my experience with the product. Remember, the fenders are plastic and the tips are cast....they will not pull together. They have to fit exactly to work.

Has anyone bought and installed the front and rear fender tips being sold on eBay?  They are $250 a set.  Pretty high price.

Is there anywhere else to buy them?

Do they fit perfect and tight?

The chrome quality?
