Great pictures of a very unique ride, you are awful young in that first picture. But guess island life keeps you young.
Great paint scheme on your bike and well done.
This past winter I added a set of risers I picked up  they would be the first picture I have added below. I kept the stock handlebars. I did turn the bars up a bit more then they were from the factory, that is changed the angle, and in your pictures you have the stock 2" risers, and mine are 4" up and 2" back. Also your bars seem to be rotated down and so they would be lower. This new configuration on mine have made a huge difference in seating posture and for handling.
I did not have to change any cables or wires other then a couple of rerouting and some moment of the guides. Or do away with the guides.

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Scootworks Phat Risers II raises the bars 2 1/2" and back 3", and all you have to do is reroute a couple of things, but all stock cables can be used.  http://www.scootworks.com/shop.cgi/page=partskawhandle.htm/SID=1438868537.23095
