Thanks ratman,Andrea would dearly love that so stay where you are please. I am not sure if any of the Vdog uk members have a Corbin twin seat,I have never heard of any of them talking about one, only the single seats. If you could keep an eye out that would be great thanks.

Thanks greenbarn,I like your outlook a very positive one and I will look in to what you have said and see if I can move the sissy bar back. It was also a very good point that it may sit further forward than a stock seat. I do normally think this way myself but at the present time I have a few family problems which are numbing my head. Glad to hear you get on well with ratman you must be as twisted as him  :D. Ratman looks like you are back on the hunt again, as for cost I can't imagine that there are many that come up on the secondhand market or I am wrong. We never see them over here in the uk.

Maybe, maybe not...   I believe we're talking about the overall length of the seat?  Maybe the Corbin sits an inch farther forward than the stock seat and it might fit.  I don't know about this - as I don't have a stock seat to compare to, but if you're within an inch, there's a chance it might work out in your favor to barely squeeze it in.

Or perhaps you could relocate the backrest by an inch to make it work.

Just saying don't rule it out entirely - you might be able to make it work.  I've gone to a lot of trouble for certain things to make them work, when at first glance the are not compatible.  I mean, look how well Ratman and I get along.... ;D ;)

No Worries

I have measured up and only have a max of 31", so the Corbin must be a bit bigger than the standard seat as I have about a 2" gap at the back of mine at the present time. It looks like I will have to forget this idea which is a shame as I did want to go this way. Ratman you seem to know Andrea too well as what you said was exactly what she would want. I am glad you are in Canada  ;D

Dear Mr Shunter Sir I am always nice to people and I know how much you want to take the ever lovely and sweet Andrea for a ride around your Isle, and take her for a really nice sea side dinner and just tour around the Isle, one day. So anything I can do to help you out would be good for both of us. I'll check my local Kijiji daily looking for your seat.

Thanks troll, the one I have is similar to that being the mustang,I just like the look of the Corbin although I will have to see if it will fit first with my existing sissy bar. Mr Ratman are you feeling ok why are you being nice to me,I am starting to get worried. Thankyou for your offer and I will come back but don't want to waste your time if it will not fit so I will measure up first but thanks again for your kind offer.

Hi guys,I am new to this site but was looking for a bit of help. I have a 1500 drifter with a dual seat with mustang seat cover. I was hoping to pick up a dual Corbin seat secondhand at some point. What I wanted to know if someone with a Corbin could measure the seat from front to back as I have a rack and sissy bar which I want to keep. I just want to make sure that the Corbin seat would fit with the sissy bar in place. I would say I have about 2 " clearance with the original seat. Many thanks.
