Progressive rear shock question

Thanks for the link. That will make things easier. I is kind of a shame that the pretty shock will be invisible when it is installed!

  Yup that be the puppy, and you will like the ride, not that hard to install, just need to get things out of the way, if I had no issues then again you should have it done in about 45 mins.....from start to end.....lol.....

Shock ordered. They had a good price on Amazon.com. I think I can almost get the barn door open with the snow melt!

  I am sure that a smart guy like you will have figured out how to build a special tool just for this use.

You can and it is only to remove the seat........oh and a chisel or punch, and you can adjust it like that but the manufacturer does not like people doing that.

Is it difficult to change the pre-load on this shock once it is installed? I do like to use different setting for different riding situations. I have found the stock shock to be insufficient for two-up riding. The Progressive shock should do the trick if I can access the preload settings without taking the bike all apart!
