LOL>>> Again you got it right that orange does lean a bit red... But as others have said what you like is the correct color!

Leaning oranges?  This has suddenly surpassed my understanding in the color area....   Like I said, my wife picks out my clothes... ;D

It's going to be a darkish metalic burnt orange, to match my corvette (Ha ha)...

I don't know.... I'd say it leans a little bit to the brown side....  :o    Would you consider this "true" orange?  maybe leaning a bit to the red??

I'm pretty sure it will lean to the right..... ;)

My art teacher told me you are right on with your choices: yellow if you want an analogous color scheme or blue if your orange is true or leans yellow or green if your orange leans red for a complimentary color scheme.

Why limit yourself, you have already bought a full set, you are going to drill one and thread it so you won't be able to use the set anymore,. drill and thread them all and change them as the mood takes you..

There ya go!  Done deal!  ***And this way the wife will be happy too!***

OK, need some feedback on the "proper" color for a shift knob.  This is for the 800, it will be Burnt Orange/ Ivory 2-tone.  I bough a full set of vintage pool balls, and I need to pick one.  I'm leaning pretty hard towards the stripe ball (2-tone  :D you know).   My initial thoughts were orange to go with the bike, but thought it might not match burnt orange well enough...   So now I'm thinking maybe the Yellow stripe, or maybe green or blue...    I don't know, maybe this is why my wife picks out my clothes....

Balls are similar to these....  the blue is a little darker than these, and perhaps the green one is too.
