wow Troll, I just looked at my house on google earth, from the air it's labelled Jack and Jill but it's really a bank, I looked at yours and it reminds me of my old house in New Zealand..

What different worlds we live in.

John.

If you use street view and go down the alley, my W is in the driveway, next to a van I don't have anymore..Yes, very different places, but the same world.

Wow, you guys are way ahead of us.   It might get 50 here by Thursday....    Although I'm not complaining - the mid-30s we've been having this weekend beats the crap out of -2 we had Friday morning.   I just kept thinking of the forecast, thinking this should be the last "0" day we should get....

No Worries

Drifter was still in the garage, not completely put together..it's done now. The temps have gone through the roof, for this time of year. Last weekend I had a foot of snow in the back yard, and the snow pile near the driveway was almost 4 feet high...today I have a back yard full of mud and brown grass....and it's 50!

Great photo, did you offer to let him have his photo taken on your Drifter, or didn't you have it with you..

I didn't realise how much older than me you are..

John.

darkdrifter

very very cool!
I hope to get to ride a actual Springfield someday.
it is weird to see them in person and how physically small compared to the modern stuff.
but they where all "small" back then.  Harleys too

Troll

Yes, it was. You wouldn't believe how small it is...and feels, compared to ours. It's physically smaller than an 800

;) That was mighty nice of him to offer to let you sit on it.

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

The weather has turned again....Thursday it was -6, and today it's +44! Snow is melting like it was on a hotplate. The local Car Club has a show this time of year, for the last 41 years, so, since my wife got me a free ticket from where she works, I went. A few oldies but goodies, lots of hotrods (nice to see something in the "American Muscle" category again) and a few bikes. One machine caught my eye....'47 Chief in original condition...being shown by the original owner. As I was looking it over, he said he would take my picture on it if I wanted to....so here it is:
