DC of course you know what the Inuit call a three dog night,  correct? Perhaps in your case we would need to amend that ........ ::)

In my abode, we would call it a 1+7 night.

Been above freezing for a week here; rain, wind, and much less snow than a week ago. Supposed to cool off a bit this week, just enough to make all the wet roads slippery.

It's snowing here now.  I've really had it with winter and cold weather.   I just can't deal with it anymore.  Once my mother passes someday, I will have no reason to remain in the area.  I'll take my wives and we'll move to Arizona or New Mexico.  They have to find jobs first though.

I think part of my problem is the weather and the fact that I have four floors to heat each with 9522 cu ft.

John.

Scotland made me understand the term "chilled to the bone"... its the damp. We just got back from the frozen wastes of southern Michigan... 0 F  and snow.... wind chills in the negative numbers. It's 23 here in TN... cold for us... but balmy compared to Michigan.

We have a couple of rooms where the central heating doesn't go... so we get a cold draft here in the office. I've fixed that with electric heaters... keeps those spaces warm and helps with the drafts here. Now the only drafts we get is at the pub!
Stay warm, buddy!!

I don't know what the temperature is outside, but it has snowed, rained and snowed and rained again and now the ice has settled over the roofs, tomorrow their will probably be foot long icicles hanging from the gutters.. unless the gale force winds blow them down.

I really don't like this weather..

I have had the central heating on full power all day, I have electric fires in some of the rooms as well and I am still freezing, sitting here with a hot water bottle..

I'm thinking of getting one of those space heaters for the cellar, maybe I should have bought a small house instead of this place..

John.
