I do believe I got what I wanted for Christmas...It's 37 deg, no snow, only 75% humidity, and.....I got to RIDE! Supposed to go down into the single digits by New Years, so this was undoubtedly my last chance this year.....AND, although it wasn't the Drifter, it still counts. I never shut it off during the photo stops, since it cools off way too fast! Yes, that's ice on the River....I got a chance to try out my neoprene snow shoveling mask under my helmet, too! Works good.....

Yesterday morning, it was raining. 40 degrees and rain...then it cooled down a bit and we got 3" of heavy wet snow. I went out and cleared the walks and driveway, getting done just in time for it to warm up again....and turn back into a light rain. Looks like I'll get what I wanted for Christmas this year...NO SNOW!!! It's 40 outside right now. About 10 years ago, on this date, it was -26...Had the inlaws over for Christmas Eve, and spent all the next day getting their cars running....NOT THIS YEAR!!!! Went out to the garage and fired both bikes up, just because I can!
