I haven't done it myself, but folks report they are interchangeable. The classic version is slotted and spoked which is the only difference. I've planning to put an EBC on my 1500.

Hi gang! It's been a while since I've posted or lurked! The house, honey-do's and other daily life BS has kept me very busy and away from my motorcycles. >:(

As I looked over the forum to catch up with all you peeps I noticed that some of you had left questions and suggestions  on some of my older posts that I didn't know were there! :o Please bare with me, I will answer your questions this week. ;D

Now my question is if any of you out there know for sure if the front brake disc on a 2004 800 Classic will fit my 2004 800 Drifter? Yes, I've worn down my disc to the point of replacement, the only thing is I don't want to shell out the 400 bux for a OEM replacement, I wanted to purchase an EBC aftermarket disc at half the cost, the thing is that they only list one for the Classic not the Drifter, but it's listed as a "Vulcan 800 vn800e". I've been looking at pictures of the Classic very carefully and the fork leg, caliper and mount look identical to the Drifter. The disc definitely looks different (a bit more opened and added holes) but maybe the overall dimensions are the same? I don't know!

Any help would be greatly appreciated
