Love the looks of the pipes!  Was there any fitment problems or customization needed?   Do you have a link to where you bought them from?
Would love to hear how they sound as compared to V&Hs.

the pipes fit perfect but you need the vulcan 1500 passenger peg mount , thats the only fitment problem . i got them from a guy in the next town from me and they were new old stock , cobra does not make them anymore . the sound was alittle loud at first when i put the exhaust on and when i add the caddman air kit , http://www.kawasakimotorcycle.org/forum/projects-how-write-ups/14510-constrictors-caddman-air-mod-tutorial-56k-warning.html , and i put the 1k Ohm 1/4watt resistor in to make the brain think its cold outside to rich up the fuel so the the bike wont run lean and after i add that resistor the sound from the exhaust changed , to me its quieter now as to when i first put the exhaust on , funny but it is quieter with the resister in

Wisconsin Statues on Mufflers: "Maximum Sound Level: No person shall modify the exhaust system of any such motor vehicle in a manner which will amplify or increase the noise emitted by the motor of such vehicle above that emitted by the muffler originally installed on the vehicle; Wis. 347.39"

Ha Haaa Hee Hee Ha Ha  :) :D ;D Sorry I lost it for a moment. If I had a pound of cheese for every motorcycle in Wisconsin with a modified muffler I'd be officially living in American's Dairyland.

He what do you know? I am!!

I like having as much light on the rear as possible. Turn signals which serve double duty as brake lights for example.

Virginia requires an annual safety inspection and you get this pretty little sticker on your forks or if you prefer, you may put it on the side if you have a plate for it to stick on. Anyways, without the proper DOT lighting you will fail the inspection and not get the sticker. I think it cost $8 also.

I'm not going to run the risk some bone head driver is going to reared me because he or she need learned what hand signals are for.  Life too short to take that kind of chance.

+ 1!
It could be such a cool & clean look for our bikes to go without blinkers and license plate and mirrors (and all that stuff each one could not like on his deuce), but in that case it wouldn't be any other chance than ridin' over some racing track...
I mean, you could even take the chance and go ridin' regardless law restrictions, but you should always remember that safety gives us a great hand on long last livin'... ;)

I love my swingin' bike!

Here, in Wisconsin, the only people who use turn signals are from out of state...the "natives" almost never do, since that old Model B John Deere doesn't have them...

My state is ag friendly.  We just need to have lights, 4 ways, turn sigs, and a placard, and we can run our tractors on any road without a tag.  I've never had a problem running my tractor on a road.

i understand why someone might think blinker less bikes are OK. Judging rom the number of bike you see without them it s easy to see why someone would think its OK. Wisconsin require blinkers just like Wisconsin requires your license plate be displayed horizontally making all side mount plates illegal.  And let's not forget requiring mirrors or tail/brake lights you can see at night as well as loud muffler and fender laws. I'm not sure why bikers get a pass on these issues but I'm not complaining. Maybe because cops ride bike too. I try not to tempt fate in these areas but the bigger reason.  When it comes to blinkers and visible brake/tail lights I'm not going to run the risk some bone head driver is going to reared me because he or she need learned what hand signals are for.  Life too short to take that kind of chance.

I'm pretty sure that every state has that requirement for vehicles built after 1955 or so...Just because it's not enforced regularly, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Personally, I travel inter-State a lot, so having all the equipment required by law should keep me from getting a citation when I'm 1000 miles from home. Just having them on your bike makes the bike legal, but you also have to USE them! Here, in Wisconsin, the only people who use turn signals are from out of state...the "natives" almost never do, since that old Model B John Deere doesn't have them...

In florida you don't have to have blinkers , and the cobra exhaust is not really loud  , I thought they would be loud

I do agree with Pilgrim about the clen look, but...don't you mind your local police could have something to reply for it? Here in Italy all bikes do must have blinkers lights!
I'd like to take them off my deuce, but (apart of what local police could say...) I think I'm gonna simply replace them with something smaller and cooler: after all, safety should be our first goal. ;)

I love my swingin' bike!

Looks realy clean without the lights on there...I bet those pipes are loud. Nice bike...

i took off the blinkers , the rubber was rotten , i took off the front blinker bar that held the driving lights , i didnt want to remove it but it was all rusted and the driving lights were in bad shape also , i add the caddman air and i found a new old stock cobra slash cut exhaust for the mean streak and between the caddman and the cobra exhaust i got about 200.00 into it . put on a new front tire also and i lay down the licence plate. wash and waxed . this bike really drives nice , better then my honda fury and here she is !
