I agree with the rest of 'em.  When you get it done, it will look good.  Nothing like a 2-tone Drifter...    It's nice you were able to do it yourself.

....and with people like GB who used to be a good 800 owner, .....

Hey, buddy, what am I now??? A bad 800 owner???? I rode the 800 more this week than the 1500!!
No Worries

Man I agree, that bike is going to look great! And remember.... No one, and I mean NO ONE is going to notice that one little tiny imperfection (if any) that is going to jump out and scream at you every time you walk by...you'll be the only one that can see it.

CDNRatMan

yea might look bad but it is your bad and you did it not someone else, anyone can pay someone to do the paint, but the more you do the more you become one with your ride.
I can not pay the $95.00 per hour they charge around here for half a$$ work so I have been learning and with people like GB who used to be a good 800 owner, Troll with his skill and knowledge and people like D1, PC, DC, Baker and all the rest yes I missed a few and of course Chief who lets us use this place, we can challenge ideas, we can get honest opinions and we might not agree with everyone but we can make our rides ours,
so if it looks like crap at least it is yours and your own unique piece of work. Be proud of it.....

ok how was that as a pep talk.......

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Looks to me like you have it well in hand.

Thanks I sure hope so it has been a MASSIVE amount of work truly skilled auto body techs do not get paid enough but sadly they charge 3 times what I could of affording to get this bike done as it is so I had to do a dummies crash coarse in learning.
