Speaking of vintage parts.....anyone looking for some old school hard bags? Same as a '70's or '60's Harley FLH would have, but slightly smaller; they are the bags from an old Sportster, with brackets. My buddy in Dawson Creek up here has a pair looking for a bike to live with. In good shape, need to be painted. Next time I am there(could be a while, it is 3+ hours to get there) I will get pics if someone is interested. Not sure what he will want, but he is real easy to deal with.

  ok seems that GB and Troll want to mess with me, and I did nothing once again, but tonight I'll send them some speedo pictures, and so I have a few ideas and so I am sorry to the gentleman in the photo, but I used him as my template......
#1 front fender guard because I did not see many of them and they are hard to find,
#2 Axle Covers
#3 foot wear for riding
#4 manly shoulders and arms to handle their rides, and to look good in short sleeves.

can not imagine either needing help with all their technical skills and abilities....

Actually, I have a subtle change coming up on my bike in the next two weeks.  I think it IS subtle.  I'll post a pic when it's done and you can all guess what the change was.

Yup...she's a honey. Gave me some ideas...and Greenbarn has a gift from the owner....My example is still sitting in Brussels, Belgium. Should be arriving from New Delhi next week.

OOOOOPPPSSS...woke up the sleeping Canadian BEAR...not beer!...The new project will fit either size Drifter...there I said too much, already...waiting for my part from India...DHL says it's in Brussels, Belgium now, so maybe soon....I promise to relieve the suspense as soon as I have something to take pictures of.....AND Mrs. Greenbarn is a terrific cook!...Those roasted veggies were great!

and this would bother me why? I do not own a 1500 so I have no reason to worry what you are doing on your 1500's, if you were tweaking or working on a 800 then perhaps I would be interested.
When I win the lottery and the people on my bus list join me we will go and buy me a 1500, but then it would have to be a 99 nothing else will be good enough.

I will also continue to listen to your very good advise and ideas, and after finding out GB had lead me down the garden path over the rear shock I am removing him from my bus list and moving his wonderful Missus up 2 notches.
