Has anyone installed the Scootworks preload improvement kit?

  I was looking at them but then one day O bottomed out but good and hurt my back and so decided to change the shock itself and went to a progressive 465 and it is really awesome.

Pretty much what the topic says.   

The bike is bottoming out every once in a while when we are riding two up. I've got the pre-load set on 7 right now. I did a 240 mile ride alone with the pre-load on 6. It was kind of soft when things got bumpy. The bike is more composed on 7 when solo riding. I've replaced springs in KLR shocks before, so this modification does not look too daunting if if really does work.
