Try putting more air in the rear suspension, say up to 40 psi, to keep the prop shaft straighter. If the vibe changes, then that's where I'd look. Here's a useful page you should check out.  Saved me a lot of money: http://www.gadgetjq.com/ujoint.htm

Ok now I'm really pissed because I have asked several mechanics if this could be from the drive shaft, including a Kawi dealer mechanic and they all said "no way". Just wondering what the best way to check it is before I try and tear the whole thing apart.

Yes that's exactly what I seem to get,how can I check that Troll?

I believe the through bolts are supposed to be 35 Lb/ft....If they are too tight, you will transmit a lot of high frequency vibes...is this speed related? I had my u-joint seize in one direction about 55,000 miles, and that made a very heavy vibe at certain speeds...

Hi so I seem to be picking up a lot of vibration still after fixing everything wheel and fork related, basically seems just a lot of engine vibration now. Am about to check my rubber mounts and was wondering how much trouble they are to change? Does the tightness of the mount bolts have any noticable effect (over tightened)?
