Dear Dorothy,

Does this mean - despite marriage's short comings there are advantages for the vertically changed ?

The first time I saw it I chuckled, then I saw it a second time and again was to late to take a picture, but then I saw a couple more times, and the wife gets off goes to the front and she actually pushes on the faring or head light to help move the bike backwards. The riders were all just reaching the ground with their toes and this is on a paved parking lot, and it was level......makes one take a moment and think.....

No, reach fine on the 1500.   Now, I have to stretch a bit on the 800, but I hope the corbin solo seat puts me a little lower.   It was fine with the stock solo seat.

I'll have to admit, though, although I think I get the "W.I.F.E. " joke (e.g., expensive, treated gently, coddled, etc.) I don't get the "short" part... ?? ???  Maybe you'll have to 'splain it real slow for us Ohioans....??

Are you going to install that on the 1500 or can you reach the ground?

I went to the Biker Reunion today, fantastic day but more about that later, I saw something today that I found fascinating. I have been in awe since I saw it.
I am somewhat upset that I noticed it was only found with Harley Davidsons. The 2 wheel versions, not the trikes, nor the ones with a kit for 3 three wheelers of them, but the normal 2 wheel ride bikes. They seemed to have a reverse gear.
When I asked the one gentleman about it he was not a gentleman with his answer, I simply asked him were to get one and what it cost him. I saw it 5 times but sadly I was never able to get a picture of the reverse gear in action. But did notice it was mostly with riders of short stature who seemed to have trouble reaching the ground.
But I did learn a wee bit about them, it is a product called W.I.F.E. seems it is really expensive and in my opinion, really not worth the funds. Seems the gear only worked when it wanted to and had to be looked after and treated gently and coddled a lot........
