My Version Of Two Up Seat

Cochise that looks sharp . I especially like the added lights under the stock directionals . Not only does it dress it up , adds that extra lighting for safety . Very nice job

  That is a well thought out job and looks like it was factory made for the bike.......I like it.......

Will get some pictures on the gallery. Ratman, I attached the Defender bumper to the fender rails by drilling through the bumper I made and put a hose clamp ( the kind with the rubber insert) around the factory fender rail and bolting the Defender bumper to the hose clamp hole. Another clamp  in the middle at the rear of the fender bottom for the 3rd point of attachment. This way if it didn't turn out the way I wanted I didn't have holes drilled in my fender.  The aluminum tubing is lightweight so it stays on with no problems.

The paddy nubs in the middle of the seat remind me of 70/80s metric seats, but that thing does look awesome!

 cochise: my sincere apologies to you and your mental state, but you should have know by now that letting GB and D1 into a conversation at any point and things can go wrong really fast.

I was wondering if you could post some pictures of your bike in your gallery, because this one picture has me looking and thinking you have some unique mods done that are interesting, but I would like to see them better. For example how did you attach the Defender bars to the fender stays?

Now once mikeakafred sees all the chrome he will be checking in with you or trying to steal some of it.

Nanook, the rear guard is my attempt at the original Defender bumper that the Indians had. Its hollow aluminum tubing , I made up a jig to bend it, it turned out nice and I was going to make another  and the local supplier dried up.

Now why in the world would you be trying to picture two men on poor Cochise bike  It would have to be a really tiny gal , to be able to fit on that seat with me . The way Troll has been shredding off the lbs , I'm sure he'd be able to get a gal on the back with him , however

I really love those chummy seat ! Heathers leathers is even selling a chummy pan for the drifter. But comfortwise they didn't have a great reputation for riding two up but they sure look good and are quite versatile as a solo seat!

Outstanding work! I also really love the rear fender guard did you fabricate that yourself or is it from another bike?

Thanks for the compliments. GB, its not as big as the Drifter two up, but that was the standard back in the day. Its about 22" long, so when you put your skinny gal on the back you rode up near the gas tank.

That is sharp, Cochise.  It looks great.  I like that grab rail.  So that's big enough for 2-up?  Looks more like a love seat than a sofa.  I like it.

Replaced my solo seat with a craigslist early 70's Electra Glide seat that was yellow with age from its original white. Fabricated brackets leaving enough room for the rear fender to work. Re dyed black and used the original grab rail. There's a skirt for the back of the seat but my bikes pretty retro and I like the gap between the rear fender.
