 #1. Replace both set of brake pads, this will encompass, rebuilding both calipers and checking all hoses and cables involved in the operation of the brakes, DONE
#2. Bike now has 33 some ks on it and not knowing if the valves have ever been checked or looked at that is in the plans for after xmas, DONE
#3. Seat is getting new foam and gel foam, sculpted and formed, by a local custom seat-maker, DONE
#4. Replace front springs with 1500 Progressive springs and new oil, remove and check triple tree bearings and parts, DONE

#5. Replace rear shock, remove all the pivot points and bearings, grease fittings, check and replace as required, grease, DONE

#6. Add what will be black bumperettes to the rear fender, First coat of gloss black and drying, DONE
#7. Replacing all the chrome bullet heads with black ones,  DONE
#8. Build the nacelle' paint it black and install it, have the parts here, decided to forego this mod because of the windscreen
#9. Replace handgrips, DONE

#10. Replace rear sprocket with 38T 0ne because of 0hi0 barn said to  DONE
#11. Rear passenger folding floor boards. DONE....DONE WITHOUT GREENBARNS HELP
#12. Rectifier cover at the powder coater  DONE

#13. Mystery project, project might be out because lack of finding correct parts required

#14. Second mystery project, still hunting up the parts

YEA it's a bad habit for me not wearing riding gloves . The only time I wear them riding is when it's extremely frigid . I don't wear gloves at work either just not a glove person , never was . Guess my hands are used to being beat up so the bugs and pebbles just sting for a second , or till the pain goes away  I'd hate to see how black the grips turn your hands when it gets hot out I better find myself some nice gloves before hand .

D1, the bounce of the old springs is gone, no more sitting at a light and having the front dive to a stop, and the rear shock max comfort now....

black palms, nope, I never ride without gloves, just a thing no matter how hot it is I always wear gloves, I know people with fairings who do not because their hands are safe behind the fairings, protected from stones and bugs........till they and the bike part company.......so no black palms....lol....

Excellent Ratman  Knew you would love the front spring change and definitely the sprocket swap . Man that really is like night and day from the stock set up , ah . Now for the new grips , I love how they feel , the fact of getting air through my fingers and less vibration from stock grips . However , and not sure if yours are doing the same thing or not , but not to keen on the black palms .

  ok so today got out for my first ride of the season; Cold and threatening more rain, but decided to go for a ride, got in just over 100 km both city and highway, so here we go about the winter changes,

rectifier cover did nothing but cosmetic.
new brakes front and rear and rebuilt the calipers, everything is working as it should...good thing....
sounds really nice and quiet, and we know the valves are ok
ah the seat, oh some soft and comfortable, was pretty good.
suspension system front was really nice and firm and the rear shock great, nice and stiff the way I wanted it to feel
hand grips great really comfortable
bumpettes cosmetic but look great,
now for the sprocket set up
FANTASTIC......18/38 makes a really different change, now that being said, no change in town per my riding style, found no difference in take off or acceleration, on the highway you notice it as you open the throttle and pull way and you have a longer power band, and then shift, not looking for sixth gear, and seems that the top end is really a lot less vibration and the sound is not like it is running at the top of the power band. Really impressed on this so far.....seems my man GB was right on this count........as with the suspension......

What's a sun shelter ..... a green house for plants ? Guess the store did loose out if others are following suit .

Ahhh good for you buddy . Hope the weather works in favor to get that MUCH needed wind against the face . Let us know how you like the sprocket change . I personally love it and think it made a huge difference with eliminating searching for that sixth gear .

gazebo, awning a pl.ace out of the sun, do not want to sweat or tan because then I would like one of them people from down south.

Forecast for tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with cloudy periods, and I am off, so a few chores to do in the morning, and then water changes on the fish tanks, then time for a nice easy ride, around the lake might be a good idea.........

  The local store lost a huge sale not just from me, but today 3 more neighbours looked at the sun shelter I was putting up and I told them to go to Sudbury because they can get them in a week.......lol.......

and no I get messed with by a lot of people but I can also give it back and not complain about hurt feelings........

  Sweat is something that happens after the ambient temperatures go anywhere over 58*F after that it is too hot to be with out AC running on high........had to go North to a bigger city to buy some stuff that my local Hardware store could not get after a year of me ordering it and getting lied to and having my chain jerked......

Meanwhile, south of the arctic circle, I broke a healthy sweat today while mowing the lawn.

Do you even know what a sweat is?  Have you ever experienced one?

That just means your driving in the wrong direction , Ratman  You should be driving SOUTH ... LOL ... You know with all that snow you love to be around I'm surprised your not working on a snow mobile with drifter fenders . Now that's something to think about , ah  That would look pretty cool and definitely be ORIGINAL

     PC if you have an atlas or use your Computer I drove to Sudbury, and it was snowing on the way up and the amount of snow in the bush and long the road was just a blast to see and Lake Nipissing is still covered in ice no open water to be seen.

Oh I bet you were smiling big time . I know I was today finally pulling the 800 out of hibernation  . I have a few minor issues I plan to work out tomorrow if the rain stops

  she was smoking some good to burn the grease off and surprising I only used a very little dab of it........oh well, because I looked like a smoker on wheels was not my big deal.......smile from ear to  ear and enjoying it......
