Nanook , I mentioned the comfort for my liking's due to the angle of the bars , but your much bigger then I so if It's a comfortable ride it should be for me as well . The picture I saw of the owner of this bike looked much shorter then you and I , and petite ...... LOL . He looked very comfortable with his set up .

I too , run a sprung seat on my 800 and absolutely love the comfort of the seat .

drift1 i,m curious about why you say you would not be comfortable on such a bike? It looks a lot liki mine with the spring seat and bars and i'm just over 6'1" and around 285lbs and tis is the most comfy i've ever been on a. Bike!

never seen them before or know what they are but they are kind of cool.....

IMOP these bags look like they belong on BMW or something along those lines . I've seen this bike numerous times without the bags , of course or the two up seat bracket set up like this . It looks good like this , but it seems the owner is always changing something on his drifter .... LOL .

Ratman I can't remember what this exhaust was called  ??? And no this wouldn't be a very comfy ride for me at all ....LOL It's a good thing the owner is a little fella .

Personally, the ultra modern bags on a vintage looking bike don't do much for me, but I can see where the extra lighting / reflectors would be good.

Agree with you there.. Rather go with something more retro or leather bags.. But unique mounting idea tho.

well a unique idea, and retain the original grab rail by the looks of things, so you know it will clear the fender.

looks like a 99 800, not sure what exhaust system he is using, wondering if the red lights on the bags will be his signal lights because if not the ones on there are rather small. Those bars look awful low for my taste. Imagine a giant like D1 having his arms down that way on a long trip. I do like that air cleaner cover......nice touch.
