Yes, They are both in mid 2000's range.

Ford owned Jag (and a few others) for quite a while, and many of their cars are based on Ford platforms.  I think I might have made one guy mad, when he asked me if we would work on his Jag X-type?  "I can't get anybody to want to work on it..."   I told him it was just a Ford with a lion on the front of the hood .   "THAT'S NOT A LION.... THAT'S A JAGUAR!!!!"   We worked on it for him and got it fixed up - had an engine miss - bad coil like all the other Ford motors do.

The Lincoln LS is very similar to the Jag S-Type.

The S-type has a bad tranny.   Now THAT's a little more expensive....

Is seems like cars come in in the most unusual combinations sometimes.  Today it seemed like we were opening a Luxery Car Service center...
2 Jaguars and 2 Lincolns all the same day.   Not that long ago, we had 3 Ford Festivas all on the lot the same day.  I didn't know there were that many left in the county....

It's weird how stuff happens that way.
