Oh, I'm pretty sure that the term "hoax" will play a prominent role in future history books...

You've got that right... ABSOLUTELY right.

So John are you telling me that in a few years PC will be living in a cold place and I can poke fun at him for that ? Not that I would be the type to do that .

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Some of us have already put our bikes away for winter and some don't have to..many years ago when dinosaurs walked the earth we had tropical weather, then some say we had a asteroid hit the earth which knocked it out of orbit and caused a large cloud of dust to fill the atmosphere and start a global winter, the ice age. Well gradually we started to warm up enough for life to come back to earth and one way or another we arrived on our drifters and all was well with the world..Yeah we had a few glaciers melt, a few volcanos blew their tops and we invented central heating, but all in all the world was beginning to get a bit more comfortable..

Now about 1/3 of the world has nice warm weather for the whole year round but the rest of us could do with a bit of the free central heating that we are missing out on so how did the governments convince us that global warming was not only a new thing which hadn't been going on since the ice age, but that it was a bad thing which could only be cured by paying more taxes..

Right so central Africa, where I have lived, and loved the warm climate, is getting too hot..mind you I don't hear them complaining.. here is a choice of two solutions.

All those hot country people swap land with all the cold country people and then I can have Great Britain in Kenya, spend the global warming taxes on new roads and buildings and I will be happy.

or.

Build a giant umbrella over the hot bits of the world and a mirror to reflect the sun over my cold bit..

or the governments could just admit that global warming is not a threat but a natural cycle and our governments are just inciting fear so they can claim a green tax from us to protect and pad their own wages.

I just want a few more riding days each year..

John.
