Absolutely not.  Rather, Slime has "UN"-balancing properties.  Bad stuff IMHO.
I'd hate to even put it in a tubeless high-speed tire.  I know they sell it for that stuff, but it's bad...

Remember, our tires have TUBES! While I might consider something like this for my goldwing's tubeless tires, I wouldn't for my Drifter.

How does Slime(tm) figure into this.  Does it have any balancing properties?

Dyna beads are a good idea for dry climates for people who are lazy or can't balance a tire, but if the inside of the tire is wet they clump together and are not so good, I'll stick with the old fashioned way for a few more years.

I had read that bout the MCN review (or another similar rag) being negative.  However, for product review type of stuff, I've always tended to believe user feedback over "non-biased independent reviews" like magazines (consumer reports, etc.).  They have their place, but I think a lot of the time they over-think and under-test the test method.  They develop their "method" that the think depicts real-world, then test a few and come up with a conclusion.  Often times, I think their method is inaccurate.

I believe Yogi Berra said  "In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But in practice, there is."

I have read a whole lot of opinions of bike owners that said the dynamic products worked well in their tires, and I don't remember reading any who said they tried it and made it worse.

I know on truck tires, say 265/75/16 10 ply or bigger, the Equal product works well.  It doesn't make the truck ride like car tires, but dynamic spin balancing doesn't either.  Is it as good as spin balancing?  I think it varies based on the tires and vehicle.  I tend to think it depends on how far out of round and out of balance the tire is.  However, it does some good, and for sure lasts as long as the tires do.  With spin balancing, whenever the tire gets a little wear, then it's out of balance.

My opinion still hasn't been made up on the motorcycle tires, though.  I think I might put some in my current tires to try it out.  If it works, then I'll use it in new tires, otherwise not.  I figured with tube-tires, it's going to be a real pain to get it out if you decide you don't want it! (probly need a new tube.)

Yea - golf balls - in semi truck tires. I've never thought that could be a good idea, but I've heard probably 20 people mention it.

That's the first time I've heard antifreeze.  I've heard golf balls, and some other stuff I've forgotten but antifreeze is a new one.

Before those balancing beads came out I worked with a guy who used Anti-freeze in his pickup tires; he was running very large tires, around 38" or so; said that worked great. Good demo vid, btw.

Does anybody use a powder-type tire balancing product in their bike tires?  Such as Equal, Powder Balance, Dynabeads etc??   We use Equal in all of our larger truck tires, and it seems to work great.  I recently learned they have a product for motorcycles and I'm interested in trying it, or something else.

Any experience out there??
