HELP!... clutch problem!

Yeah, if you replaced the fluid... assume you used the proper fluid... it is likely an air problem.

Working fine an hour before. I wouldn't dig to deep at first, it's got to be something simple.
Are you sure all the air is bled out.

All wires are connected properly and I checked the lever adjustment... still no luck.
There is better pressure on the lever than there was before I changed the bars (probably because I've replaced the fluid and bled the lines).

I'm officially stumped on this one... looks like I'll have to start taking things apart to check the condition of the spring, friction plates, etc.

Check the wiring at the clutch grip... there is an interlock switch there that must be connected ... sometimes its not fully seated.

Check the lever adjustment.

Make sure you reconnected everything properly when you replaced the bars.

Are you getting any pressure when pulling the lever?

Hello fellow drifters!

I am having a problem with the clutch on my 1999 Drifter 1500.  I recently changed the handlebars and grips, and now the clutch will not disengage. It starts and runs fine in neutral, however as soon as I put the bike in gear, it jumps and stalls as if I have not pulled the clutch lever in.
The funny part, is that it was working just fine 1 hour before I changed the bars and grips. I originally thought that the problem was due to air in the line (since I had the master cylinder hanging upside down while changing the bars). However, I have bled the line from the master cylinder end, as well as from the slave cylinder end... no success!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
