I think I bought a carb from them a while back for the boy's Suzuki off Ebay.  I'm not sure where they are here in Ohio, but it would be cool to go sometime just to look around the place, especially if they'll let you in the boneyard.  I always enjoy a good stroll through the junk yard...  Amazing what you see, and what you can find, especially if it's an old junkyard...

It's called Pinwall. They are on eBay all they time. Located in Ohio     http://www.pinwallcycle.com/ I have gotten quite a few odds and ends from them, good prices, excellent service.

Sorry your hands are hurting, but it's good that the job is done!  You wouldn't happen to have a link to where you got the new cables from, would you?

Ever since I've owned this bike, the throttle has been quite stiff. I put it down to excessive DOT required throttle return springs. The other day, I decided to lube the cables again, and see if there is any improvement. Took the air cleaner off this time to make sure the lube was getting all the way to the lower end. The closer cable was frayed...and the inside of the cable housing on the pull cable was sticking out! I looked for and ordered a set of used cables from a company I've dealt with before. They were shipped free, Monday morning, and arrived late this morning. $17.50 for the pair...just the pull cable lists for $30...I can't believe the difference between the originals and the "new" ones...Partszilla showed the '02 Nomad cables to be the same, and that's what these are..exactly the same...NOW, here's the rub. It's a lot bigger job than I expected. I knew the tank had to come off, but I never realized just how packed in everything is. It took me 4 hours to get the job done. It was worth it, but my screwed up hands are really hurting right now...Someone with more functional hands could probably cut a couple of hours off my time, but it's still a BIG job!
