Fine, Fine...

I understand quite well now. Very useful your images, kw-retrorider.
Hi, Chief, did you buy some part to RonAyers before? If you confirm me this supplier is reliable, I'll order it; I think is the best - easiest solution

Thank you all for your support.

RonAyers.com is the only place I ever buy OEM parts. Just be aware they use the Kawasaki parts listings which lists some parts which are not actually still available. And, as noted your local Kaw dealer is likely to be cheaper considering shipping, customs duties and taxes.

Hi JLA,

Is suggest you first ask your local kawasaki dealer in Spain what their price is. Getting parts from the USA will usuaslly cost you extra import taxes, say 40% (20% VAT and 20% import taxes) on the price INCLUDING transport costs! And it takes several weeks to arrive, due to european customs.

Or find a european OEM seller like http://www.cmsnl.com/products/cover-seat-under_140911368/  214 euro, including VAT and shipping

Its $129 on ronayers site which is the cheapest we have found.

I have a Corbin solo and I use the detachable fringe to hide the underside.

JLA: I have a 2002 800 also. You are missing the plastic cover. I don't know what the part number is or if it is available. It screws to the holes noticeable in your photo on the lft and right sides. Here's some photos of mine.

What if you make a leather skirt of some sort to fasten in there? make it the size and shape you want, so as to not hit the fender, but block some of the unsightliness you're concerned about?

No Worries

Hi again,  I hope I'm not being boring.

As no one is perfect, even the line of the drifter has some snag (in my own modest opinion, of course), which is the ugly area under/behind the solo sit. And there are there a couple of sheets with 2 holes which function I dont guess. Is there any stock part in order to cover that area? Did you 'decorate' this area in any way?
