Ratman, while we were on a weekend family getaway, I found your perfect seat at a flea market.  This matches perfectly the nostalgia of your blacked out vintage look, and the green color will add compliment to your Sunbeam Red Beauty.  Not to mention, this will look great this winter draped with Christmas lights and tinsel.

I used to be the tube park foreman on the local ski hill, and met a lot of people that way, and being nice to others is a good way to be, North Bay is a small town too so people are nice to start with. Some day over a drink I'll explain my deal for moose meat in the fall.......

as for the cost of the seat that seems to be the normal price he charges, all his ads are pretty clear on his prices I'll see if I can find one and send you the link.......

You run into more deals than anybody else I know! Free pipes, speedo cover for a buck,  now a custom seat for 2 hundred! Lucky guy!

   So just got home from Astorville about a 30 min ride, over and down the hiway. Went to see a guy who has ben advertising on Kijiji about custom motorcycle and snow machine seats, boat tarps and seats.
Young lad, and he has a couple out buildings full of old M/C's for parts and what ever he said. I actually saw his work, very nice, he has some really nice work for a local guy. He knew about the Drifters but mine is the first he actually saw, and he asked to sit on it. So the deal is I am going to get a seat per se. He said it will be hard to figure it is not the stock seat, once he is done. We, (actually he) will dish it out, and sculpted were my legs go when on the road. He is going to move the slope behind the driver more upright and bring it forward about 3/4". He would like me to drop it off once I park the bike, he will do the work and put on a temp cover and I can bring it home and mounted on the bike, he said and then watch a movie while sitting on it and see what needs to be reworked, we can add a gel underlay if I want, and this will run me from $200 - $275, so told him it was a deal.
So Troll need you to make a movie from all your bits and pieces and we would like it to be ohhhh saw 6 to 7 hours long. Want to get the real feel for the seat......lol.
