Good insurance and a Smith&Wesson .40, will take care of a thief. I live in a good area and do not worry about loosing my bike. Not all of us can say that. But if they want it bad enough they will get it. God forbid if I catch you trying to take my stuff.

My line to a thief is "May God have mercy on your soul . . . . because I certainly won't!".

I even painted my Drifter brown and named it Mongoloid in honor of my brown brothers. Respect!

I however, am not hispanic. Is that racist of me?

Yes.. the measure of racism is this..

Are you in your own country talking about people from another country..then you are racist..

Do you own your own property and are not supported by the state..then you are racist..

Are you a Christian talking about Muslims..then you are racist..

Do you support the American war of independance against the British..then you are racist..

Do you talk down about Harleys..then you are racist..

Do you wear a white nightdress and hood and carry a burning cross..then you are racist..

John.

If you get enough out of the suit, maybe you can buy a Kiwi Indian...and a bottle cap Indian, and and, and.....

I just looked at those Kiwi Indians, I never heard of them before. Wow. My next build might be a board tracker, I love that style. I'm still thinking up ways to keep what I have, not really thinking of buying anything new but who knows?

Hey I lived in El Paso County for 4 years, and enjoyed it...it was ok.......we lived in Old Farm in Colorado Springs.

I lived in the same area for 6 years , when I was a kid, only in Broadmore.  We didn't have any problems at the time.  I'm even considering moving back to the same general area a few years down the road.

Agreed, the problem here is the abject ignorance of local law enforcement. They think that whatever they say is the law. They bring a guy out here from a local garage to take my stuff, he has no licenses from the state or any qualifications but since the Sheriff told him to he thinks he is right, he never heard of Dora. I wonder what would happen if the sheriff told him to go down on a deputy? I guess he would just do it. That's the level of mentality. I should note that this county is 90% hispanic with a hispanic sheriff and deputies, a hispanic staff, all hispanic county workers, etc... I however, am not hispanic. Is that racist of me?

I've lived in "Europe"... and meaning no disrespect...  I'll take the American system. In the USA, we have layers of jurisdictions and methods of legal redress which work 99% of the time.

By most American standards too. I got all my property back so no worries there, I'm about a new 800 Drifter short of cash though after all the expenses. It does seem unbelievable. The county has been sued before for this kind of stuff. The county records are full of mistakes, forgeries and outright missing paperwork. They have no system to tell you that you are due in court except wait until you miss and then issue you a bench warrant so they can get more money, arrest you, you have to bail out, have another charge of failure to appear. They couldn't produce a bill for my trucks and all the stuff they took so we would just have to come back the next day, incurring more charges. I could go on...

It's like being the only genius on an island full of idiots, who's the idiot now? I'm basically on an island full of criminals, that makes me the outlaw. The criminals tried to run me off, I was too stupid to realize it, then they tried to beat me up and got their asses handed to them. They finally called the Sheriff on me and filed a false report of "harassment". I have videos of these guys shooting at me and my wife on our own property!!!!,but the Sheriff and deputies won't even look at any of my evidence, they take the word of a $10 county worker driving a new de-badged Mercedes Brembo package out here on these endless dirt roads. The POS actually drives the fucking car across the street to work. I'll let you figure it out. I will tell you no matter how radical I may be I live so far out as to be able to bother nobody.

GPS is not to get you THERE but rather to get you home from THERE

Petemoss

May I ask why are you being harassed?

Troll

So, that's how they treat people in Colorado...no wonder the state is trying to split in two!

As for the ongoing harassment by the county, they did manage to run us out. The wife already left and we've got a new house in the works. I'm still at the old one building an 8ft tall fence around the place. Only in America, eh? These county idiots were openly talking about keeping my stuff and made every effort to do so. They acted like they scored the lottery.

Does that Bronc sport a steel body or is it flabberglass?

Yea, It's 300k per infraction. The county has been sued previously a few times and lost. I've hired that same lawyer.
All original steel. That Bronco was built like that, but with 38s instead of 40s, back in 1978 by Rancho. It was owned by a music producer who said all kinds of rockstars partied in it up and down sunset blvd in the heyday of rockbands. It's the original Bigfoot of Broncos.

So we are out on this ride and the wife calls and says the house is surrounded with cops, what does she do? I ask how many and she says 6-8 and a big truck, I'm thinking command center. I told her to stay inside! So the cops raid everything, take over 60k worth of vehicle from the yard and garage including 2 early Broncos, 1 historic and completely restored, my F250 Diesel and Trailer, and weld shut the doors to my shop with over 100k worth of tools and stuff inside. So now I got reason to haul ass right?
So my buddy is giving it hell on his doglegging 1200 Sportster back to the house. We are up around Salida. I'm about a block behind him on some twisties and I see him look back and gun it. I'm in 5th and only use the hand shifter so I just keep it there and give it throttle. The boat is very stable with a good line into a corner, amazing. I'm catching up even as he thinks he's leaving me farther behind. A sandy corner causes me to slow way down. Some more twisties and I've now caught up. He has no idea I'm right on his ass so I don't pass him. We go a mile or so and get a good straight away and he gives it full throttle, we are doing about 105 and cresting a hill and he checks his mirror to see if there is any site and all he sees is me all up on his shit. His eyes bugged out of his head and he was visibly surprised.
I rode the next 150 miles at over 90 to get home. I'm surprised the corrupt sheriff and his retarded deputies didn't shoot my dogs, they maced one of them. Civil lawsuit is on the way, most property has already been recovered. Seems the county workers and Sheriff want me to move away from this remote spot out in the middle of nowhere where there is not even any radar.... Hmmm, go figure.
