So I was checking and it was jus the fuel line hose went loose and so I was pretty much running over my own gas which im guessing caused the fish tailing ... But not much happened to the bike besides some cosmetic issues and a cracked coolant case... A alil road rash and a bruised foot... Memories haha thanks guys

Also check the pressure in your rear tire. Low pressure will cause the rear end to be very wiggly or fishtail. Had that happen to me on the highway years ago. Rear tire went flat due to nail or something and rear end fishtailed wildly, almost went down but hurt foot and ankle trying to keep upright until I was able to stop. Quite an unpleasant experience. Sorry to hear about your injuries, how did the bike fare?

With me my main fuel hose went loose. It had a service at the dealer some days before so probably not connected right >:( . It is a snap coupling. Mine stopped suddenly and while trying to restart I noticed and smelled the fuel. It only leaked during the tries to start, only then the fuel pump works. It was a quick repair, just pushed the coupling firmly back on until it snapped (had to lift the tank a little).

Just looked at the California emissions set up in my "R" book. The left air cleaner base has a canister purge hose that is supposed to carry only vapor. If the canister becomes saturated with fuel ( happens in cars pretty regularly) liquid fuel may be pumped directly into the left side air box. There are 3 vent hoses located right by the oil filter from the fuel tank. I'm not sure how these are set up on the Cali models, but that could also be an issue...

I made my own air filter backing plate and removed the restrictive stock intake set up. With a 7" K&N and a little planning, I have added about an average of 5 mpg, sometimes more to the bike. I averaged 46 mpg over 2500 miles in a week going to and returning from Drift-In. I see you are on the west coast...you might have an issue with your charcoal absorption canister....I'm trying to visualize haw fuel could get on the rear tire...you sure it's not oil? The oil filter and the oil pressure switch are on the back of the engine, just ahead of the rear wheel.....

What happens if u do that?

The air box on the left has just the filter and the cross over duct in it. I took mine off and removed the duct a couple of years ago.

Yea that's the game plan I still haven't had a chance to look into it still but will post up what I encounter thanks again guys...
One thing I did notice the air cleaner on the left side seems alil out than the right side could this be a reason for the spillage? If so what should I do about?

If you have fuel all over everything that could have made the road slick, I suppose. Anyway, you need to do a visual of EVERYTHING related to the tank and fuel system. Something that major should be obvious.

If it fell over, the tip over sensor shut down the system. It should restart after you cycle the key. That fuel leak is the big issue...Did you have the fuel tank off recently? There are only a couple of connections, so the problem should be easy to spot.
