Whats the longest lasting tire?

The old fashioned answer is that there are two types of tire..Soft rubber which stick to the road like glue but don't last long, and hard rubber which lasts forever but doesn't hold the road..good tires have to be a compromise between the two..

You only have a limited number of white wall tires in the correct size to choose from so it might be a matter of sacrificing quality for looks..not many riders in Britain use white wall tires and even some of those that do have painted black walls white..

I have heard Michelin are good.

i get 6k-8k on my rear me880 and now the 888 is suppost to be alot better

  I have the same tires as D1 and today I put abit over 600 kms on them and fantastic, really happy with them and of course they look cool.

Dougdrifter,that's the easiest question ever posted on the forum ::)I can even answer this one .....the one's that never get used ....to easy,brother..lol...On a seriuos note there's different opinions on this like many other questions of course here on the forum.There's quit a few of us who just upgraded over the off season from the stock black Dunlop to the metzler 880 www's at least that's what was on my Drifter before the switch.So far I put 800 miles on them and don't have any negative reviews at all.
