Tank Logos

I'm working on it.  I have a cast brass baseplate from a mid '50's Royal Enfield. There is a member of this forum who offered to CNC a brass plate insert with a Drifter logo in an Indian type face.  I sent him a file and am waiting to hear if he can machine a plate according to the artwork.  Here's is what I hope it will look lie.

JMBO:  if you find that you need extra badges I found these - supposed to be brass - looks cheap to me.

That's pretty weird, D1...  I had just seen the same badges on a google image search, and had the same thought!

Do you actually have a set?  If they do, how do they fit the tank?  That was my biggest obstacle in making up my 800 badges - tank fit.

Ok, Jmbo, you did a magnificent job, so what's next...do I copy the graphic and take it to the sign guy? What do I do, now that perfection is so close at hand? See that empty spot on the tank??

Here's the guy I use: http://www.stickeryou.com/2  They can print and shape cut a vinyl decal any size you want.   They are very reasonable.  Their labels are color safe and won't fade.  I can send you a high resolution file and you can go to their website and set up a page for your labels.   It's pretty easy to do.

Interesting you should mention the stretch and the slant. This is actually the font used for the original Indian logo. I guess we are so used to seeing other adaptations that we forget what the original looked like.

These are really good, Jmbo.  I think I bought the same font for my project, but I wouldn't be able to do all of that in a month of sundays....

Now I wish I would have waited a week, and just had you do something for me.....

Can you try this one but only have "Drifter" on the badge? {Personally, I like just having Drifter on my tank; not Indian, not Kawasaki. My 2cw  That being said, keep up the good work!!!!
