Portmeirion..The village..Turn left off the A487 and follow the signs to Portmeirion it's a very small sign and easy to miss..The village is well worth a visit, they gave me a discount because I was over 60 and then another discount because I was only there for a few minutes to take photographs for my book..You can book a room in the village for the night or longer if you want..If you go to Wales this is one of the places you must not miss.

It's been my dream for many many years to go to Portmeirion.   Some day. . . . . maybe some day.  It's the main thing on my bucket list for whenever I get a chance to retire and travel. . . . if that ever happens.

If I ever get a chance to visit Wales, I'd like to go to Portmeirion.  Maybe I'll run into No. 6.

JH nice town you live in and I thought the history lesson for them heathans would be nice for them to learn. Sad to say Wales was one of the few countries I missed on my tour of Europe. Perhaps when I win the lottery I'll ship my 800 over and we can go  for a nice long tour at my expense, and I would bring a few of my Drifter buddies over......

  ok seems that some people never grew up around animals and did not live part of their lives on a farm. There is an old saying that a person has more lip then a cows got tongue, which means that the person talks more then a cows tongue, because if you grew up on a fram you know how long a cow's tongue is.....and no disrespect to inocccent John in all this hammering on me, but he was stated as being busy for his 6500 post per day, all I was trying to say was he was busy in my own way, which failed because some people have lived such sheltered lives and never head this before........I'll keep it easy for those people from now on......
