I looked at that link and the light bar is really different then the light bar that was on my 800. it looks far wider then mine. But I did post the pictures in my thread of the two of them.

You know what, I don't know.  I got them on clearance without packaging at an off road buggy shop.  They easily clear my Fire and Steel windshield.  I don't know if they'd clear a Rifle or Memphis Shade shield.  I'd just go with a shallow housing to be safe.  Mine are 3 1/2" deep and clear the windshield by 3/4".

Here's another option that would make the windshield option irrelevant: http://www.vulcandrifterriders.com/cheapspots.html

Thanks for the fast replies and info. I am planning on installing a windshield also so I better install it first so i will know how much room I will have front to back. Thanks PC for enlightening me on that.
The 4.5" lights look good what brand are they?

Those are regular round lights on mine now.

I put 4.5" lights on my factory lightbar (25w), and it was tight, but it fits.  I had to go with a fairily shallow back because of my windshield.  I've got between 1/8" and 1/4" between the housings, so measure twice, drill once.

Brian, I figure you checked it all out and you have the room for putting the lights there and it will not be too crowded. I picked up a Kawasaki Fire & Steel light bar for a 2000 Drifter 800 and had it powder coated black to match my ride. The lights on it were 4.5" and chrome they would have matched you chrome really well. Check out the Fire and Steel see what they have. Not sure what mine are watt wise but will check.getting mine all wired up on the 12th so I'll let you know more then.

Seeking recommendations on a set of driving lights that will mount to the OEM light bar on a 2005?
I need the two lights only and i will be drilling holes in the top on the bar to mount the lights on each side of the headlight. I am looking for large lights 3.5" -4" and they must compliment that beautiful headlight houseing. I'm thinking probably chrome bullets. Wire through the bolt would be nice. I will be wiring these with a relay. Am I correct that they should be 35w?
Thanks
