Do you jack your bike up for the winter?

Still not sure why it did not vent down, vent line is open .Sometimes things just dont go my way.i  just say errrrrr and put it in the back of my mind for next time.

put mine up on the jack last week (fyi filled it up last week  got warm in garage you know what happened next gas expanded and bubbled up paint) .What a bad way to learn .

Man, that SUCKS! Real sorry to hear that. Why wouldn't the overflow vent have let the gas out UNDER the bike like it is supposed to?

  I will lift mine once I get the lift finished. Got a lot done tonight. I just use the same gear as always other then arctic longjohns for cold riding......

I'm thinking of first getting a table, and putting it up for an oil change.  Do some other maintenance.  Then, I'll do some minor mods.  Give it an even more thorough cleaning.  Then I'll take it off the table and put it up on a jack for most of the winter.

I need to get some cold weather riding gear.  I will always find excuses/reasons to go for a ride, until it's not possible.  Once we get the first snow that sets on the roads, the ice on the sides will remain until Spring.  And that lasting ice, and refreezing of the roads every night will kill all riding until the thaw.

Yeah, ok Bravo, lucky you if you can ride all winter, some of us can't    Yes, I keep mine on a lift, so there is no load on the suspension or tires. You will need an adapter to put on your bike lift in order to (safely) lift a Drifter, however, as the engine hangs down between and somewhat below the frame rails.

The one J&P video I was watching said to jack the bike up and leave it on the stand over the winter.  The idea is to keep from getting flat spots or cracking on the tires.  Do any of you do this?
