no tool required just push both pins on the sides of the connector and pull STRAIGHT down it can be a little tuff sometimes......i pulled my gas tank off yesterday

I have a 99 1500 Drifter. I am going to get it painted and when I tried to remove the gas tank the fuel line seems to have a funny looking connector. it is stock. I have everything disconnected except for this line. it looks like some kind of special tool is needed. does any one have any clue on this?.
