Cold Morning

Forced time off is a reality for most of us.  Not a bad thing really.  Lets you get some of those things that you've been putting off done!

   right now 41*F and sunny, forcast for the weekend is as per normal RAIN, and more RAIN. not a big deal, lots to do and get done before snow starts....

yes we can chill out and relax, get the boards ready for when the ski hills open, the ice shack ready for fishing, the snow machine ready to ride too......knees in shape for curling. It is really nice to have the time to plan and get things ready for the spring and not have to rush and do it half way because you want to ride, enforced time off is ok and it can have its good things too. Like a lay off during the winter from golf, I have time to get new equipment, and get my lower back a rest and work on the muscles. So now over the winter I can work on getting the surface scratches out of my paint job and really gethte paint to shine for the spring, and give it a really nice cleaing job and such so winter does have its advantages....

80 is the high for today, then it drops to the 50's and 40's going into next week.  Guess winter had to get here sometime!

Now the northern boys can chill out!

58 right now, promising to get into the mid 30's by this afternoon....and we are having a big a$$ thunder storm.....

73° here in Milwaukee yesterday. My son and I spent the day on our bikes. Rode out into the hill country. Stopped off for a few barley pops at the end of the day.  Good time! Temp going down to a high in the 40's this weekend.

72 today, went for a little 75 mile ride...thunderstorms tonight, and 30's by tomorrow night.....45 for Saturday...ya just never know what you're going to get around here.....

If it makes you feel better, it drops down to the 60's after that.

pcarrell there is an old saying about doing unto others as you woukld them to do unto you, and what I am wishing happens to you I would not wish on my worst enemy right now......but I promised Chief I would be nice to you........so I am only thinking it right now......

Dang, I just don't know what I'm going to do about this riding situation!  I mean, 78 degrees today, 80 forecasted for tomorrow........

Weather depending, I'll be getting my yard and sheds winterized, move a few things around for the winter from one shed to another, dig out my snow tires, get the snowblower moved to the front shed, and then trim the roses dwon and turn over the gardens.if by some blessing of the good lord we get some decent weather I'll try to get a last ride in before I park my bike for the winter......

awe shucks..Ratman. In 7 days it will be 50 for a high. I will still be riding unless my tires don't get here, in which case.. I will probably still be riding, just slow in the corners.  Keep all those cold winds up there with you and when I win the lottery I'll ride up and bring a little sunshine to pass around. Maybe even open a Timmys that serves poutine

Lucky you! At the rate things are going, in 7 days I'll be up to my bung in snow; it started on Sunday and hasn't quit yet. At lest it's not too cold...yet. -8C or 19F to you south of the border folks.

thank you 49 I near had an accident at my desk this morning reading this.......made my day.....I would love to be ale to throw that snowball.

Chilli now you are starting to sound like pcarrell....not nice......So after I win the lottery on Friday it will be 49 and I heading out for a ride at my expense......might vist a few of the nicer folks......

LOL snowballs. we didnt even get enough snow last year to make snowballs. Good ol' Global warming. it was 62 on my ride to work this morning.

Oh, and BTW, I just went for a short ride, and I really couldn't picture you guys and your snow drifts.  All I could do was smile as the wind whipped past me!

WOW 49 wake up on the wrong side of bed did we.....I must file a hurt feeling report after that hammer.......lol....

after I get home tonight and am relaxed it will be hot tub and drinks as I watch TV and relax for the night.....

and you southern boys can enjoy the warm weather...wait till global warming comes...lol....

LOL Thats ok, Mother Nature is getting even for you; had to plow yesterday, so far another 4" and still snowing...... oh well, gives me something to do (and whine about) in the winter months.
